blkcivicIA, how about taking a picture of the oil filter on your engine and post it here. Love the swap by the way.

I swap a h22a in a 1995 honda accord. The car feels like it's redline at 5000 rpm and will not crack v-tech. I am running a p28 ecu the motor is 97-00 .I changed dizzy and still redline at 5000. Please help.

I have a 1999 ex that had a d16y8 in it
i put a h22a4 in it with a new 8 pin distributor
my problem is that I am not getting any spark
the motor cranks and turns when trying to start it but won’t turn over due to no spark
Any ideas?

Are there eight wires in the plug ??? If so, this would suggest you either have an external coil type distributor OR an H23A distributor which has the power wire in the eighth position. How about posting a photo of the distributor plug on your engine harness (showing wires) and a pic of the distributor plug wires... it will make it easier for us to help you.
