I have a 3/4" drive 32mm (6 point) with a 2' 3/4" breaker bar. I usually need to jump on it (I weigh 230lbs) and maybe use a bar. We have broken lot's of 1/2 drive bars and sockets over the years. My buddy had to split his axle nuts on his EF.
It just depends on how long they have been on the car, weather, hack mechanics etc.

it should be atleast $20 for that socket. I know Accords are 36mm.
I never have worked or owned a D series single cam to know about that size for sure.

yeah, 32 on my sol, so i'm sure its the same on a civic. Btw, I couldn't get mine off with a 12 pt either, I also had to go buy a new socket the first time I took my axles out.

just for s&g's i ran into a friend of mine while i was on my journey. He has a stock 88 rx-7 and he was like car does 143 in the quarter...
i also just bent my bar that i was using as a breaker bar. it was over 4 ft long didnt do anything off to try another method.

143 mph? or 14.3? Yeah, axle nuts are hell when you first remove them, use half a can of wd-40 before you try again.

did it guys...hubs are busted loose...not 143mph in the quarter...oh and he has a 18c motor in it...cost him 3500...it doesnt run good at all in first and second cause the fuel is so rich that it doesnt run right haha...oh **** i love country people that think they know what they are talking about.
