ive got a 93 dx civic coupe, with a 94 jdm b16a in it, and i was wondering if anyone with this similar set up has gone against an rsx with a GOOD outcome? when i say this set up, i dont mean exactly what i have, but with the same car an engine. anyways, thanks for the help.

i'm pretty sure youd beat a rsx by a few cars. i raced one in my stock ls/vtec hatch and pulled it by about 7 cars

depends on his mods also. do you know exactly what he is running. i can pull on my old rsx all the time in my crx with b16 but i have a few extra things up my sleeve. i'm going turbo next week though so it would just get worse.

thanks for the replies everyone, i appreciate em. i was wondering if i could get any replies from people with my set up? 92-95 civic coupe with a jdm b16a in it. i raced my friend with an rsx type S which had hondata reflash, an cold air intake, and i got toasted. this was when i was stock thought. but i dont know if the cai an header would make that much of a difference? anyways, thanks again.

Damn that sucks to see all these Eg GSR's blowing these RSX's away and your getting toasted with a b16. Realy glad I have a GSR coming in this week and not a 1.6, no offense!

well i have a 2000 two door gsr...
i had a comptech icebox (stock filter at the time)..blown shocks
(broken coilovers too, suspension was sh!tt)
but pretty much stock gsr....
beat my friend's auto sport shift rsx (non type s)
2 or 3 times consecutively...noticeably pulling in third gear...
both times we quit after third gear..we were racing on the street.
pointless to go to fourth.

oh yah, his car was stock.

thanks for the rsx stories. i raced my friends rsx-S with the hondata reflash an cai, along with some suspension goodies, an i got worked likea rotten *****. sucked ***. wanted to see how everyone else did against em.

RSX's arent as slow as some think they are. Saw one run with just CAI and exhaust put 14.1 with slicks. Suprised the hell out of me too.

I raced my friends RSX-s. He has the ITR cams (jdm) CAI, Catback exhaust, and Hondata. I'm sure there is more but he wont say. Seems like everytime we raced it was about dead even (we were both on 17's) but I really need DR's cause I spin bad if I try to launch hard. I have an H22 in my hatchback (vafc, shortram, 2.5" exhaust). So I figure we both run low 14's to high 13's. It felt like a waste of gas.

i have a rsx and i dont think they are all that fast at low end but at high end they pick up fast after vtec. i raced one of my freinds with a stock 96 gsr and he spanked me, i have had mine up to 225kh sorry i am in canada and i dont remember what the hell that would be in mph even thow i am american it must be all the canadian beer getting to me
