Filter on a stick? No experience, but for the most part, a good intake system will net a 1-2whp gain over another filter on a stick.

Then again, there are other issues with swaps. One is fitment. Using a GSR intake in a CRX is not going to be very easy. Another is sizing. Using a CRX intake for an ITR motor is not going to yield the best power since the CRX intake is likely going to be on the small side.

Re: Anyone with the AEM Hybrid Intake? (StorminMatt)
I wanted to see the performance aspect of this intake and I knew fitment would be a problem using an ITR intake on an Eg. So I decided, for now, to get the Hybrid because it would deal with fitment and power. Thanks for saying something worth while StorminMatt. (PS - CRX's aren't Eg's)

I was using the example of the CRX to illustrate why a hybrid intake might be handy, as using a GSR intake on a CRX would be most difficult. Anyway, you might also try using a 1999-2000 SI CAI if the hybrid intake is expensive. I don't see why it would be a problem on a 1992-1995.
