I got a 6 gen civic ex auto, i am about to do a GSR swap, i am wondering about the trans mount differences. Do i need to get special mounts? Do i need to move my mounts around?.....or do the Stick and auto trans bolt in the same way??? (from a 6 gen civic ex in to a stick GSR)

if anyone did a changeover from auto to stick on the 6 gen civcs.....please give me some info

I did a 5spd swap in my DX and as far as I know, the tranny was bolt on. The mounts did not have to be moved at all. I know on the 5g's, you had to reweld tranny mounts, but not for 6g's. At least from my own experience...

thanks a lot for your reply......so how much did u pay for the parts for the swap?....did u do it your self?

btw, saw your car profile, it looks nice....simple.....oh well, so how much did it cost you for tag rear brakes?.....did u have to change the brake MC? and how did u plug the Crankcase Vent in order to place the k&n crankcase vent filter?
