Alternator question?
i have a 94 LS motor with no distributor and no alternator. Im looking for an OBD0 distributor, and im getting an obd0 pr4. I was curious what year alternator to get. should i get the 94, cuz i think it will match the belts? or do i get one to stay with OBD0? i dont even know if that matters.....

your on the right track as far as the distributor & ecu goes if this motor is going into a CRX. The OBD1 LS alternator should be compatible with your CRX OBD-0 engine harness though.

I say just try it, rather than wait for a unanimous decision, and if the OBD1 LS alternator doesn't work, just use a 90-91 LS alternator.

It does work. I did it before. You can use OBD0/1 alt. with either a obd0/1 ECU, it will work. The belt (alt) will work too.
