Default All motor question

Do you really need to build up your bottom for going all motor? Im talking around 230 hp with a b18c engine. If so, what will i need to get?

Default waz up...

depends on high much higher you want to rev...no not really needed but polishing, balancing or even knife edging the crank can be an option...

if you are looking for 230 flywheel or about 200whp...then i would do it the following way:
high c/r pistons JDM ITRs or even CTR (a little overkill)
thin spoon or mugen or toda head gsket
Toda C or Jun 3 or other super crazy cams....
completly upgraded valve train (valve springs, retiners)
some port polish on the head maybe 3 or 5 angle valve work
bigger bore TB
lightweight flywheel
if its a GSR motor then Skunk2 manifold
JDM ITR header with 2.5" cat or test pipe or Spoon, mugen or some other quality header

thats how i would build it up....

crower.com sells a nice stroker kit.
turn that 1.8 into a 2.2!

don't stroke it stroking doesn't make that much power if you want bigger displacement bore it out or find a b20 block but EG6 has the right idea

Yeah I would go with what EG6 says but be carefull when you use CTR pistons and a real thin head gasket you can't run a real insane cam like Toda or JUN because they have a very high lift and you have a very small amount of clearance.

For that kind of power, you are also probably going to want a skunk2 ecu or similar program. Having the $$ and the parts is only 2/3 of the job, make sure you have someone who has put together a motor of this caliber before...
