Default AEBS Head Stud Question

I have a set of AEBS head studs but the box says "Head Stud Kit B16" p/n 201-HS16. Will these work for my B18c1 with GS-R head? Or do I have to get some for the B18C1?

Also, the ones I have don't have the allen holes to torque them down. How can I torque them down? Also if I can use them what do I use to install them just reg motor oil?

Some have moly lube already on them do I just wipe it off. No they were never installed on any motor yet. I got them from someone that was gonna put them in, but then decided to use ARP instead.

You have to get the stud kit for the block that you are using. You have a B18c, so you need a B18c.

Get the right tool and do it right the first time. You really do not torque down the studs when you install them. You torque them down to 5ft-pounds MAX. I use SAE 30w oil on the threads.

I hope that helps

b16 studs are shorter than b18's the deck on the b18c is 7mm higher than the b16a, they would work on a gsr head only if it was being put on a b16 block. if they don't have alan holes (earlier studs may not) then you'll double nut them. put one of the nuts on the top threads and chase it with another back the first one up until they are tight, then you can tighten the stud into the block with a wrench, DO NOT torque them past 20ft.lbs, the bores for the studs WILL strip. use whatever lube is specified by AEBS and the according torque specs. i preffer moly lube.
