Default 95'GSR chassis w/TYPE r/s H22?

heard this swap(single plenum/red valve cover H22)was hard to wire up in any civic/integra chassis..........................WHAT'S SO HARD ABOUT that motor!i have done practically every swap in an integra/civic except the Kseries.....................INFO would be GREATLY appreciated!

its not hard...just try it. you just have to extend the alternator wires

done a couple of H22 swaps in integra's 94'-00' i've just heard there are some things that'll be a headache to wire up.................on this kind of H22

It's pretty damn easy if you ask me. I just used my stock OBD1 GSR harness (extended alternator & Starter signal) and is plugged right into the motor. I did use a JDM internal coil distributor which made things easier as well since it mates to the harness with no mods. The external coil US distributor does require some additional wiring.

i do believe that the motor is a 97'(JHPusa)for 3900.00 red valve cover

are we talking about a type r motor or a h series motor because 3900 seems high even for a full swap.

i would have to say it's the type S,220hp/164lbs tq.it's the BIGGEST H22 honda made!

There's nothing hard about an h22a swap in the wiring department. People who say so have no idea what they are talking about.

the only thing i can think of the fact it's OBD2 motor and the dist.has to be repinned!

If your swaping a JDM H22A type s you will have to deal with removing the ATTS unit.
