94cx + 96 b18b what stock intake? (already have LS short ram, not a big fan).
I hope the topic title made some sense. I've had the b18b in my cx since the summer and I've had an AEM short ram intake for the LS on it since then. I drive ALOT (long commutes) and I'm just not big fan of the noise right now.
I'm wondering what stock rubber intake and box will work. I'm thinking a 94+ LS stock intake will work, but I'm not sure. The 95+ ls short ram I have now fits fine. I'm just not sure of the stock box placement. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
G

You can use your stock air box and a 92-95 DX, Si or EX intake tube. The VX and CX will work but they are really small in diameter compared to the others so I wouldn't bother with either of those.

The diameter is large enough so that it will fit onto the throttle body. I have a 91 CRX with a 96 B18B1 and i used a factory CRX Si tube and my air box. I also have a 92 VX with a 99 B18C1 but since the manifold sets differently you can use a modified GSR tube with the stock air box. Since the LS manifold is setup similar to the SOHC motors, the stock tube and box will work.
