Default in to 94 cx...b20 or b18b?

looking to do a swap for not soo much money.....which would u recommend going into the cx hatch. b20 or b18b does either pose any exceptional problems...both uses same mounts and such so they would be basically the same correct?

what else has to be done for a non vtec into a cx....is wiring hard, getting the mounts in difficult?

it's easier and cheaper to buy a complete b18b swap than to source individual parts for a b20...ie motor, tranny, axles, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, ecu, etc..when you can just buy them all together w/ the b18b. the b20 will however make more power, but a b18 is nice too.

I agree with SuperCivic...it's easier to just buy a complete B18B swap. However if you're not looking for a swap right this minute, I'd go for the B20...broader powerband and sweet torque...the engine comes alive with I/H/E...and screams with cams

The wiring shouldn't be too difficult...just basic stuff...

B20! B20! B20! I personally have had both motors. And there is no comparison. The B20 is just WAYYYY better. It may be more expensive and harder to source all the parts. But it is well worth it. If you go B20 instead of B18B, you will never regret it!
