91 si b18a1 spark plugs question
I have a 91 civic si with a b18a1 from a 93 integra, so the engine is from a obd1 car but im running it on obd0 in my civic. It is running the BCPR5E-11 spark plugs which are for the 90-91 b18a1 but for the 93 integra the NGk site calls for ZFR5F-11. Im getting a some hesitation could this be an issue? Which spark plugs should I get?

Run the plugs that go with the year of Engine.
Have you done any other recent maintenance? Plug wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, PCV valve? Set the ignition timing?

Re: 91 si b18a1 spark plugs question
okay thanks. The distributor, cap, rotor are 1 month old. The others I haven't checked. I did replace the oxygen sensor last week because when I would be going down hill on a cold day it would throw a CEL for oxygen sensor...then it would run like crap until I shut it off and turn it back on. Maybe the o2 could still be affecting the performance. Gas mileage isn't as good. it seems to run smooth and powerful when cold before it fully warms up. When its fully warm is when it starts to jerk and has less power.

Re: 91 si b18a1 spark plugs question
I have same swap and everything but I converted mine to obd1 with rywire jumper harness . I changed the sparkplugs and just ordered then for a 1990 Integra . I also have bad mileage because my no o2 censor are plugged because I scrapped them out when I want over a bump . but my car still running strong with no problems . I used to have a problem that my dizzy would do. It would run good cold but then once it warmed up it would bug a little and ocasionally turn off.
