4 wire O2 problems
Ok. I hooked up my 4 wire O2 sensor in my 92 cx..... yes that is right I had to run all of the wires(below is a diagram of how I wired it up). I am 99% sure I wired it up correctly becasue 1) I thought about it a lot and 2) it doesnt throw a code any more.
But here is the thing, after about a day of driving it I started getting really bad cut-out. The motor would randomly cut out/lagg/stall for a second or two, but keep RMP's?
BTW I am using a "standard" O2 sensor, not a honda one. but that shouldnt matter.
Any one have any ideas? Is this even related to my newly wired O2 sensor? The only thing i can think of it the conectors that tap into the wires for the O2 are moving around(cause the ecu is on the pass. side floor right now) but if they were losing connection for a second wouldnt that throw a code.....?
im conffused!

*update*
I drove to work this morning and it was doing it so bad that I pulled over and unplugged one of the wires going to the ecu(A3). then I reset the ecu and tried it again, problem was gone.
So why is the O2 sensor making the car do this? what is/might it be reading incorrectly?

if u dont use a shealed wire ur ecu gets wack readings cause of interefirance, so if the ecu sees a really lean condition it fluds that motor with fuel, hence ur boging, hope this helps i had the same prob on my b16a2 hatch dorve me nutz lol hope this helps
good luck
