<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by TheGeneral »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The motor comes with an ECU, I can just use that. (I did some more research)
I have to get a "jumper" to connect everything right. Then I have to get the wires extended and I should be good. Like you said, it should take long. The motor is getting shipped with a stock motor mounts and shift linkage. All that good stuff.</TD></TR></TABLE>
you will fail... you cant use the jumper (if you want to pass bar).... and you have to wire the data port aswell......no data port you will fail. and you will need a usdm itr ecu....and dont forget the obd2 cat. with the two o2 sensors which need to be wired up aswell as to not cause a cell on the ecu..
bump so someone can finally do an obd2 into obd1 write up...
and most importantly..most of the post above show you how to wire the engine , but fail to tell you if you wanted it state barred it will not pass the inspection.

Chief, if you decide to just get a conversion harness and keep your p28 then just get it socketed and I got some good chips for the B18C.. Check this site out http://www.xenocron.com/services.php?page=chipping
