2000 si swap into eg
ok heres whats up, i have a 99 si motor swap in my bubble with a hasport harness which allows me to use the obd2 distributor in the obd1 car, but heres the problem for some reason the starter dosent get a signal when i turn the key.. the fuel comes on and everything.... so just to make sure we jumped the starter and the motor started right up... so i thought it was a fuse... checked them all it was not a fuse... what can it be?.... a bad ground? a relay?..... or what, anyone know whats up let me know asap thanks!

Re: 2000 si swap into eg (widebodyjaeg16b)
check ALL of the grounds, when i did my first swap i forgot the VC ground and for some reason it wouldnt start. i hooked it up and it started.
1. Valve Cover
2. Thermostat Housing
3. Tranny to Chassis
Also check the wires coming from the fuse box. Make sure they are all tight. and follow the one down to the starter. Make sure its tight as well. Also there should be a spade connector type looking wire end that should be connected to the starter as well. Good Luck, hope this helps
