You're member since 2005 so you must know your honda stuff. But did you ever consider H2B ?? Great torque for low budget.
As for your proposed build.. It seems all out with 85mm bore!

Re: 2.2 b16b
lol yeh been around years just dont realy post much.
ive done a h2b and a k ,i just cant keep away from b series though haha and id like to do somthing diffrent .
i was even thinking of going 84mm, i could end up boosting it in the end so dont want to over bore the sleeves then have to rip on it if i do go boost.
this is in a "street" race car build

You could, but why? Performance per dollar value is a lot lower than F/H/K. I do understand sleeper status, but that only lasts a few races.

of course its possible but why? do it if you want it bad enough.
and yes its been done before this stuff is all 10-20 years old everything has been done before, it may not be on honda-tech but its out there somewhere.
once you rebuild everything aftermarket nothing makes it a B16b anymore other than the stamp so personally i wouldnt bother but like i said if you want to do it than just do it.
i guess you could mess with your dyno operator. what my b16 makes 165ft/lbs of torque?? it must be magic
