1st gen B16a and 2nd gen B16a Distributor
I heard the 1st gen distributors are different from the 2nd gen. Anyone know what are these differences? Can one assume a distributor from a the 2nd gen will not bolt up to a 1st gen B16a??

They should bolt-up. Probelm is the connectors are different. The 88-91 b16a1 are round white connectors and the cap is bigger. The 92+ b16a's are grey square connectors and have a short cap.
Hope that sums it up.

Is there anything that would fit on an obd0 b16a first gen dis? Because I can't find them anywhere.
Also, my old dis that went bad had the TD-22 code and I got a TD-22U dis and it wouldn't work on my 91 civic

amazon or ebay for new or used. There is no US bolt up plug in distributor for that engine. That is unless you want to convert to OBD1 then you have more options as long as you change the ECU to OBD1 as well (92-95 GSR, 94-95 Del Sol VTEC).
