1999 Acura GSR SWAP HELP
i just bought a 1999 gsr with a b18c1(not the original) engine that was swapped in bc of theft. the new engine(block says b18c1 3306468) does not have a place where the vtec pressure switch is supposed to be...wtf, does this mean its JDM? also, the timing is running at like -1 and i cant fix it with messin with the distributor. do i need a JDM ECU to run the JDM engine and do i need a JDM distributor to run the JDM engine? i dont know what to do.any help would be great. thanks so much

only the JDM itr lacks the pressure switch... and thus, it's not a C1.
a us ecu will run a jdm motor
same deal with the dist.
if your timing is that off, check the timing belt for TDC
