1998 ex ls swap
im just sick and tired of my single cam pos, and a friend of mine has a ls motor out of his integra and i think its a 91, im not exactly for sure......anyway what all do i need for this swap? im kinda new to this stuff and eventually want to go with a ls/vtec turbo setup. I appreciate any help

well, first....its only legal when it is the same year swap as your car or newer....so a 91 isn't suppose to be put into a 98.......if i was u, which i am since i own a 98 civic ex.....i would turbocharge it. then when u get tired of it. swap out and just get a manifold that would fit on the new engine to put the turbo into that one as well.

dude i live in ohio so it really doesnt matter they dont to Any of those little echecks or anything like that.....and i dont want to wast my money on turbocharging this shitty motor.....i need a better base to work with, dont get me wron ive see single cams run some good times with boost but its just not me i need to know what i need to do this swap! thanks for your suggestions though

Well the 91-93 LS motor has a cable tranny, you need the hydro, unless U get a kit. Also you need to convert everything to obd1 such as injectors, distributor, and other stuff. i would just get a obd2 and be done with it.
