1996 gsr donor ?'s
I found a gsr at an up and coming salvage auction. It's a bill of sale so I should be able to get it cheap. Can I use the tranny from the acura in my 88 crx? (I figured I would find a donor, before I asked alot of questions about the swap so If I get it, alot more will come). also what's the going price for a motor and tranny alone so I can figure out when to stop bidding and what other parts can I use besides motor and tranny? The auction is monday so I need answers before then. Thanks in advance

A GSR swap goes fir 3000-3500.
Assuming the wreck is not a frontal damage where the powertrain is affected, around this figure should be a good price.

Re: 1996 gsr donor ?'s (SIRX)
Ok I went to the preinspection today. The car has 71,000 miles. the front end wasn't touched but the battery was dead. After using a jumper pack it did start right up. It should be cheap as from the doors on back their isn't a straight piece of metal and the bags and glass are gone along with three of the rims. It must of had a system because their are cut rca's and the head unit is missing. well hopefully it will be cheap (pray for rain because that's when you cant get the best deals) I'll let you all know on monday. now for my question isn't the 96 gs-r a b18c-1. More questions to come If I get it on monday.
