'06 Si TBW workarounds?
Okay so now that the USDM finally has a descent engine with an LSD and a 6 speed again in the new Si I'm thinking that this might be a good option over the JDM K20a. For one, it's not JDM and second it doesn't need to be hauled from japan and that's cheaper, plus alot of Si's are going to get sold and eventually parted from their engines
So I'm mulling the idea for a future H1 project. The big problem I'm running into is the new throttle by wire system. I Don't like it at all in the Si's I've driven, and I don't like the idea of TBW in a race car. So I'm wondering if anyone's considered a retrofit or backdate to ditch the TBW? I don't have the resources to just get ahold of one of these engines and try stuff () so does anyone know about how it works with the ECU? TPS? is it just a patch job onto the old K20 TB or is it a whole new way of working the throttle system?
So lets hear some thoughts! Thanks in advance!

if im not mistaken the tsx has tbw and i do believe there is a way to retrofit a regular throttle body and and throttle cable to it. i think there might be something on this in a sportcompact when they were workin on project tsx. hope this helps
