if i am not mistaken the sensors read different. such as the main timing belt piece that goes over the pulley shaft has the "arms" that it reads from.
i really have no idea how the h22 one works.</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you're referring to the CKF, you can eliminate the code or sensor by tricking the ECU. I can't remember the pinouts right now, but I will definitely post them up tomorrow. Just need to take a peak at one of the cars I did it to.
In other words, f*ck the CKF.

Civic/DC H22 Drivers!!!!
Is it just my car or what....?
I let my car roll at 1st then I hit the gas all the way... I barely get any traction on regular tires, at the same time my RPM Climbs Hella fast...Then I shift to 2nd after a while it starts getting traction then WOOHOOOO....my car starts pulling hella fast but my car seems to not go on a straight line unless I hold the steering wheel hella hard> seems like its going left and right but in a long stretch.
Does this happen to you guys??
I have a 4 door integra w/ JDM H22A
I LOVED it tho It Pulls Hard. But I have to worry about holding the steering wheel hella hard to make it go on a straight line when I'm racing.
Any1 got any suggestions on how I could improve this?(suspension?TIRES? LSD?)

Re: (AudioFuct)
loved it...? or HELLA loved it..?
same what audiofuct said, i had this same issue in my accord and it's alot heavier then the DC's and Civic's. likes to pull to one side.
YOu could also get the toe checked out, mine was off a bit because of my drop and after geting the toe/camber adjusted it helped a little bit

You should have a plug on your harness for that temp sensor on the thermo housing. That sensor is used for your dash temp gauge.

Re: [FAQ] H22A into Civic EG/EK INFORMATION Post all H22A Hybrid info here (skunked)
so i am supposed to use 3 temp sensors? cause theres one near the back of the head, one on the side, and the temp sensor on the thermo housing.
right now the one's that are hooked up are the one near the back of the head, and the one directly on the side next to the single wire sensor.
where does it hook up to?
i dont see any pin outs for that in the obd1 h22 diagram.

Alright, just did the h22 belt tensioner conversion to the manual h23 but now the timing belt wont fit. Its right there but is to tight to go on. Can I use the h23 cam gears?

Scratch that, the h23 cam gears cant be used cause the teeth are spaced differently. So were did i go wrong? Got all the parts off a 95 prelude h23.

Re: (kholmes)
it will fit, i 1st wrap around the crank shaft then the water pump, then the exhaust came and then the intake cam. Also don't tighten the manual tensior bolt just yet.. wait till after you have put the belt on . then tighten the belt.

i have done 5 auto to manual tensior swaps on h22a's using the h22a belt and the h23/f22a manual tensior parts and everytime i got the belt on and it was a tight fit. honda has a speical part/tool that they make to make getting the belt on-over the cams alot easier. Maybe you should get that. Even though IMO it's a waste of money, because in the 5 times that i have done the swap i have never had a problem getting the belt on over the cams . . Good luck!
