MY GHEY .02

J's racing intake won't fit if you use the factory mounting point for the wiring harness plugs on the strut tower...you have to relocate it below the intake and it is still a squeeze...

FYI, AEM ITR CAI, Prelude CAI does fit in EG's. I do know the ITR CAI fits in EK's, but am not 100% sure about the Prelude CAI.

As for expected 1/4 times, you can expect (with a decent 60 foot, elavation, etc coming into play), mainly 13-14 second range. But that varies to say the least.

AEM ITR 3inch works great on h22a ek's, even better with EURO-r manifold.

The sensor voltage is a BLK/YEL wire and the ECU signal is a PINK wire.

The colors are the same for JDM and USDM.

Yes, some manuals display Yel/Blk and Blk/Yel. The wire is a Yellow wire with a black stripe which comes from the A25 pinout to the power junction harness at the driver side shock tower harness.

Then there is a circuit cap which completes circuit to all other sensors that require the Yel/Blk wire going to it (such as IACV, fuel injectors, IAB, etc..)

Yeah, after looking at the diagrams, generally blk/yel and yel/blk are sensor voltage.

Another thing to point out.

The current HPI (??) Hot Compacts & Import magazine actually has a very good and thorough walk-thru on doing an H22A swap into a DC2 GS-R.

Brian G from HASport I believe did the swap and did a fine job on taking pictures with the review.

HOWEVER...

While reviewing the whole article, I have noticed just little flaws in there...

the engine harness check list (which I have listed in the first post) has very little flaws in it.

They are missing MAP, Knock sensor, ECT, ESS (speed sensor), and the 10mm bolt harnes ground on the thermostat housing which is very important sensors on the engine harness. They have listed every other one (to include the IACV, VTEC, etc..), but I thought I would point that out.

I'm using an AEM GSR CAI right now. Fits well and it does the job nicely.

Yeah, I have seen that a lot in reviews/how-tos.

This is for OBD1, I will look at the OBD2 diagrams this week.

Yes, the shifter assembly is slightly different, however. it's plastic rather than the metal shifter assembly.

I know there are a few EG'ers and EK'ers (that even a word? ) up on here that have pictures of them installed.

I am not sure about DA integra mounts. Place Racing might have some, but you mainly need to look for a mount kit.

Everything else like wiring and such will be easy.

Yes, place racing does make a kit for DAs. But, with almost all odd ball mount kits that place makes, they are problems with figment. I best way to go is biuld your own or have a person that is in the field to it.

I'm installing an h22a into an EK and I have the hcp mounts and A/C bracket. What Belt do I use. I'm guessing a four rib belt that is about as long as the stock belt.
Anyone that has kept A/C on the their h22a swap I'd appreciate the help.
