I'm using the innovative bracket. Since the 1/2 over kit was on backorder. I just bought the standard one used for teh cheapz lol and put it on our little bridgeport at work and put in new holes. Works like it should. AND i can use both standard and 1/2 over. POW

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
can anyone verify that the innovative H series alternator relocation bracket will work in an ek WITH the balancer shafts still fully installed and the alternator not hitting the frame rail? i called innovative and their rep could not confirm or deny this definitively.

I can tell you the 1/2 version doesn't hit the frame w/ h series alt. Along with that front shaft being there. I can take a pic when I get off from work.

lower hose is a regular bseries, in your case eg hose. And upper hose is a napa parts 8325 hose(you will need tp modify slightly).

the innovative alternator bracket will clear with no framerail issues, the alternator will sit below the framerail. I'm still running the balance shafts and boh my lower and upper timing covers. Yure just going to have to bang the frame rail to clear the crank pulley and rear balance shaft

one more thing, i have a Euro pm5 ecu with no immoblizer, if i want to run that in an obd2a ek which pins need to be moved if any? i looked at some schismatics and it looked like 15 or so pins needed to be moved which seems fairly outrageous so i figured id ask.

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
so I was observing my car today and noticed my timing belt was kinda moving around a little too much for my liking. It kinda moves in and out. Perhaps i'm missing that washer behind my tensioner?
edit: Its kind dark lol sorry.

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
isn't that what i said in my post? lol. I'm going to pull the motor. I think i may have bent that post that holds the tensioner when i had originally put in the motor. Because i kinda bang it on the frame rail a few times putting it in.... Thats the only thing i can really think of. Would too much tension cause this to happen? Its tough to see in the video. but it looks like something is off somewhere and is causing it to want to pull out, but then pulls back in. Its tough to explain
edit: The washer is behind the tensioner.

That's some tight fitment with that strut bar! Curious though, how much power do you make?

I heard Evolution mounts were a little different than standard b-series mounts... can anyone confirm this, I'm putting together my h2b eg right now and am using Hasport mounts and the motor does not sit level... tranny side is sitting hyer. I know they sit at an angle... but it seems a little more then what it should. Thanks.
