** HELP! code 14 - IACV, please help **
OK, this is going to be long...please bare with me. I am trying out my OBD2b -> OBD1 harness which i made myself. The car i am testing this on is a 2000 civic DX hatch and i am running a OBD1 DX ECU. The car starts fine but idles rough and seconds later, CEL comes on. I shorted the service connector and i am getting 1 long flash followed by 4 quick ones. I gather this is code 14, IACV. I checked and noticed on the 99-00 civic diagram, there is 2 IACV related wires. One is IACV,which i connected to pin A9 on the OBD1 ECU but there is also a IACV N on the 99-00 wiring which i don't know where to connect to. Does anyone know what is going on? Any input would be great. Thanks.

So you have a 2000 DX and you're converting to OBD1 using an OBD1 DX ecu?
Unfortunately, I don't have the IACV pin-outs in front of me. But if you do not have help by tonight I will look the pin-outs up for you on the OBD1 pin-outs.

With the pin-outs I'll get tonight, just hard wire it from the IACV directly to the pin-outs.
Which I'm sure you knew
Cold hard wiring, pin-outs, and a lot of time are the best way to go.
