right now i am looking for a wrecked s2k for a project. If anyone has one in any condition or knows where i can find please let me know. I am in the process of looking through insurance auctions and just wanted to check all my options.

 

good luck...i thought about this option at one time, but even wrecked s2000's can be pretty steep in price compared to the work that needs to be done.

 

yeah but i am doing all the work myself. if a good 2000 s2000 goes for a little under 15k i'm hoping to find one for under 5k. or close to it.

realistically your probably looking at 10k for any thing that is even worth fixing. everything else is beyond repair. I am a salvage S2000 owner. I'll have to go threw a few things and i'll send you a few places to look. Good luck.

The best way is to go threw them and call them all. Thats how i found mine. Good luck.

 

i have no problem with throwing it on the frame bench, keep in mind i'm looking for a big project not just bolt on a few parts and go.

 

and can you give me a little more detail about your project like how much you paid all together, how much you found the car, and what condition it was in.

 

Your shooting a little low if you want an S2000...even in the condition your discussing.

And $15,000 or less for a "Good" S2000 is incredibly cheap.

 

s2ks are a lot to fix for such a small car...i had a little accident a while ago, not my fault, and the repair cost for the car was insane. in the long run it may be cheaper just to buy a high milaged s2000 for the price it will cost to do what you want to do to the wrecked one.
