Default Why a testpipe?

why would you want to put a testpipe on your car? i have an invidia exhaust im just wondering the advantages, fill me in on all the details about them please , thanks

dood you could google this....

you are relieving backpressure and increasing exhaust flow, which in turn kicks up the ponies.

why get one? when you converters insides break loose and rattle around...that was my reason.

I got one because it set free the most power per 1$ on the exhaust system.

Idk about S2000's but a good high flow cat will perform the same as a test pipe and it wont hurt the environment

not really... there is a restriction, a good cat will do just that and it will restrict flow and do its job.....

most "high flow" cats are just simply the fact that they are big in size like a 3" etc...
