Why was it locked?
I am kinda curious WHY this thread wa locked:

He did search, and came up withn inconclusive results. He is a well respect ITR member.... he just went from an ITR (stolen) to an S2k... so give him some freekn slack. Just help him out, and answer his questions. I am lending him a caliper to measure his rotors before he goes off to expo. He knows the min on the rear rotors, but the front is not visible. Just tel him the OEM s2k front rotor min specs are, and let **** slide. He isnt a n00b, so dont treat him like one.

I have to agree, that seemed a bit harsh! SUrely this site wants to attract and keep its members, then sod them off by being abrupt. Even a little note saying that this had been covered before and to check this thread would have been better than links and locking it. Rather rude imho.

</TD></TR></TABLE> at no point did he indicate in his post that he was inquiring on the min thickness of the rotor before being out of spec. If you have a problem, there's an IM feature here you can use to express your concerns to me or the other moderator, and there's no need create a thread to speak for your friend and say he's not a noob when his questions have been answered.
