I knew I should have back in '97.

Maybe one day when I get a better paying job I'll look for one.

Are you worried about getting rolled by my little red hatch when I get it on the track? j/k

Can I ask how we know those are for a Type R? The part number is the same that they list for the GS-R rotors.

Well... go to the site and check it yourself if you don't think this info is correct.

I did, that's why I was asking.

GS-R front rotor:

AIMCO BRAKE ROTOR - FRONT for a 2001 ACURA INTEGRA GS-R
Unit Price: $24.99
Core Value*: $0.00
Part No.: 3296

The "ITR" rotor you listed:

AIMCO BRAKE ROTOR - FRONT for a 2000 ACURA INTEGRA
Unit Price: $24.99
Core Value*: $0.00
Part No.: 3296

They are the same part, which is why I was asking how you know those are Type R rotors when they have the same part number as the GS-R and regular Integra rotors.

Guess I can't be anymore certain than you untill I go to an AutoZone and ask.

Well so much for trying to do a good thing - Thanks for bringing the 2 same part #'s to my attention!

*EDIT*
Called customer service - left msg. I'll post more info once they call me back.

this should be it for the fronts.

95 Acura Legend 4-door sedan LE/SE model = #048731 3296 = $24.99 each.

i dont know about the rears though....i remember someone saying that autozone had made a mistake about the part number...

Yes, I also would like the rear part number as mine have what appear to be heat cracks all over the place. Might need replacing soon.

Do you drive with the hand brake on.

I was wondering that myself, how did this happen? I presumed it was due to me using Ferodo DS3000 pads in the front, allowing me to consistently brake later and from faster speeds, resulting in greater heat build-up in the front and rear. Porterfield R4-S pads were in the rear, but I guess since I was going faster/braking later and most importantly, getting no pad fade while doing so, this alowed the rears to heat up more than they would have when I ran the R4-S pads on all four corners. When that was the case, the fronts would fade at 'X' temp, and I guess the rear rotors could handle these temps. So I presume the rears couldn't handle the increased temps brought on by the DS3000 pads up front. The rear R4-S pads, BTW, did show signs of crumbling around the edges. Anyone agree with this?

They're fine I guess. I've been running stock pads on my gunmetal itr wheels and I probably have to clean it like once every month. It's not that noticeable.

Hope that helps any.

You have gunmetal wheels though...on light colored wheels, that's a different story.

That is also a great price on OEM pads
