where is the modification for the splash guard when doing ap2 conversion?

where is the modification for the splash guard when doing ap2 conversion?

im about to do this conversion...but ive only seen that you only have to cut the bumper bar.

then, on the hardtopguy site, it says you need modification on splash guard. im wondering if there was anyone that had to modify the splash guard?

I just zip tied it. The holes are close but do not align perfect. Ive been running it this way for the past year with no problems

thats how i did it too
