Prob not a good idea to "block shift" like that. When on a "spirited" drive just go up and down the gears sequentialy. Less wear on clutch and engine, easier to gauge what engine speed needs to be achieved to match the gears up nice. And always, always match the revs smoothley to stop that jeering forward when shifting down and aditional wear/stress on clutch (unless its a REAL emergency like cooked brakes etc and you need some uber engine breaking pronto! Lol). Also most cars equiped with a 6th gear use it only for the highway to improve fuel econemy and to lower the "drone" from the exaust to make long highway trips a bit more bearable. You shouldn't need it for "fast" driving unless your going for a top speed run.
second is overrated, go into first
on the serious side, go slap whoever taught you how to drive a stick, if you are self-taught, give your ***** a good punch or two for wasting a fine machine.
