Im looking to sell my 240sx and buy a s2000, but Im still foggy on the Body differences. Ive searched, and must have read through atleast 20+ AP1 vs AP2 threads, but none of them really gave me what I wanted to know, and more importantly, SEE!

So heres my question: Can anyone post up pictures comparing AP1 and AP2s from similar angles? I know that there was a chrome ring added to the tails in later years, and the newer headlights have more chrome, but I need side by side comparison to make my decision. Im leaning towards the AP1 because of the 9k redline and price, but overall styling is important. THANK YOU!

Not much help but I think the best source is actually going to the honda dealer and checking them out. Tell them to park em side by side, They should do whatever you ask them, if they want business that is.

I already went to the local Honda Dealer (the only one for miles) and they only had one 07 s2k. i asked them if they could get me a 04 or something, and they said that they are only allowed one a year. sounded strange given the size of their company.

so this is an AP1?

 

my dealer had 2, i gont in one, it felt fast, but small

kinda new to S2000's, but im gonna guess that an old one^

Don't let him confuse you. Yes that is an AP1. AP1s have the 2 light taillamp, AP2s have 3. AP2 also has dual oval tipped exhaust as well as redesigned headlights with a circle turn indicator on the side instead of the orange area of the AP1s. The AP1 has fake brake duct covers on the outer portion of the front bumper, and the AP2 has them redesigned much closer to the center and thinner. Wheel wise, AP1s are just plane-jane 5 spokers, AP2s have 2 version. The 04-05 (best looking) is the 10 spoke wheel in groups of 2, and the 06-07 wheel is thicker and consistent spokes all the way around. kinda like a flower.

Import_Fan is right.. it looks like this..
