Default Wheel alternatives?

Can anyone tell me if RSX Premium/Type S wheels fit the S2K?

I think RSX Type S is ... 16x6.5", +45mm

Or any other oem honda wheels that would fit? Prelude? Accord?

TIA.

no because we have a staggered set up. rears are wider than front. all the cars you mentioned have the same wheel on all 4 so it doesn't work

I understand the wheels are staggered but I've heard people using oem honda non staggered wheels on their S. in particular type S wheels...

Why would you put a wheel on your car that is not as good as the wheels that are already on it?

yes the wheels will fit.. the only problem you will encounter is that you will need a wheel spacer(approx 3-5 mm) for the front because the center bore of the rsx wheel is smaller than the s2000...

I'd really like to know why someone would tell you "type S" wheels in particular would work. Because, I'd bet a kidney that Toyota Corolla Type S wheels would not work very well on an S2000.

I'd be more concerned with how a different wheel is going to affect the handling, safety and stabilty of my car rather than just "will it fit".

RSX Type S ....

Anyhow the reason I ask is because I need to make a short trip to a location where there is snow on the ground and I only have summer tires. I need to bring the S2K so using another car is not an option, I'd rather use another honda oem wheel that will "fit" since this is a one time deal and I'd rather not buy tires for trip if I don't need to.

Thanks for the replies...

Yes they will fit, the TSX wheels are 17's so your fine.. why not pick up another set of OEM wheels and slap some snow tires on em?

just buy another set of oem wheels. if you visit s2ki.com, members sell the oem wheels for about 400-500, some even less. just slap on snow tires on them and you're good to go
