Default What's this button for?

New S2K owner here. Searched for an answer, but didn't come up with anything. I was wondering if anyone had a button underneath the steering wheel (about where the change tray would be on a Civic)? I reached underneath and pulled out the wires that lead behind the steering column to a plug that looks OEM. If you push it in it doesn't click or anything. Just kinda puzzled as to what it could be. TIA. Dustin

the button is for alarm kill switch.

lets say if you broke your remote and opened the dorr with your keys, and the alarm sounds. Press and hold the button and it will stop the alarm ( only if you open the lock with your keys) If you slim jim the door, it wont work lol.

Thanks. My car didn't come with the owners manual where the answer probably is. Thanks again.

lol yeah that's where my friend's was. I showed him the compartment and he's all "I DO HAVE A MANUAL!"

OP: Open the vertical "glovebox". There's a button on the top of the glove box towards the passenger side of the car. That's how you access the secret compartment.

Damn...I knew that's what it was for. haha. Nope I checked the "secret" spot and everywhere else in the car and no manual. I guess I'll just keep pushing it and wait for my girl to fly out of the car
