Well this might create a stir. I have my car my car 3 years in March. Its been loads of fun. I just feel what is needed is another 150 or so hp. I know I can supercharge, and might, but wouldnt it be nice if the car had, lets say a 3.2, or 3.4 liter V6 with 365 to 390 hp. I feel thats what this car needs. Just my opinion. Comments?

I think your missing the lack of Torque. A 6 cylinder would be nice, but would weight the car down and throw off the balance. For what the cars meant for, the 4 is fine. I think with a 390hp 6, the car would just sit there and spin in cirlces. The extra 100 whp that I got is fine. Anything much more than that would make the car hard to drive on the street. Many people cant handle the car as is going around turns, imagine what would happen with 390hp. They will need to create a "Damn I spun out section" on the forums.

Yes, more torque is needed also. But I dont think a 3.2 liter 6 is going to throw off the cars balance or anything. I am sure the Honda engineers, can work that out easy enough. Cars come with big V8`s or better and are balanced fine. I dont know about that spinning stuff, I have never holed my car ,nor intend to, but would like to have that extra hp, as there are so many fast production cars out today.
Any problems, or regrets with your supercharge??

A 3.2 is going to weigh a lot more than a 2.0/2.2. They would have to do same major redesigning to get the car to handle the came again, not to mention jack up the price about 5 more grand.

No probs with the S/C at all, but my diffs been acting funny. Another thing to consider, the cars tranny and rear was not meant for torque.

Some people do fine on the rear differential and some have problems. It all depends on how you launch\drive your car. If you are really concerned then go with an 04' diff, they are a little beefier.

just stroke yours to a 2.2 or even a 2.5...

i cant see a v6 in the s2000, it just doesn't belong in our cars. s2000 is the fastest production 4cyl out there. 120 hp per liter for the 00-03 models. very impressive IMO.

Ok, but what kind of increase HP would I expect, from, stroking, as the we all know the 2.2 doesnt offer any more Hp only Torque. So if I stroked to 2.5 what would you think the difference might be? Must be a costly adventure also.

going NA route is very expensive. if you want around 300-350hp, get a supercharger or turbo
