My woman's birthday is coming up (beginning of may) and I want to get her something for her S...

T1R exhaust and testpipe went on this christmas (best sounding exhaust ever!!) but other than that the car is stock... so for around $600 max. what would be a good gift?

 

What else is on the car? That will narrow it down a bit (cosmetic wise what have you done?)

 

The rest of the car is completely stock, even exterior...

I want to keep it performance oriented... since I don't know how she would much she would like say a front lip.

Is there a company that makes an intake that actually makes power and doesn't keep the filter dangerously close to puddles, living in the south makes having a CAI a very hairy experience.

Maybe I can get her to put some money up as well and talk her into getting a TODA header ... hehehe... what a dubious plot!!

I knew this was coming...

I have said the same thing to her, I just think she's afraid to mess up her baby on track...

There aren't any track days near the time of her birthday, but maybe I'll suprise her with an event in June and be like "To bad its already paid for, you gotta go"... that way if she really doesn't want to do it I'll get to drive... hehe....

at one track near me, they have a miata for rent at 150 a day + track / HPDE fees. it's a bargain when it comes down to costs of pads, gas, tires, etc. but it isn't a spec miata, nothing special but it does teach you quite a bit.

 

comptech intake and you still have about 250-300$ to play with after that...

Getting a killer deal and I had to jump on it. Will be on the dyno soon after, can't wait to see what kind of gains 50mm primaries will give!

Its already got T1R header back, so its good to go. Wish I had some more money for the ems, but I guess the VAFC will be alright for now.
