None. If it was that easy Honda would have done it. You've seen too many "Banks Power" diesel commercials.

OT: I never understood the whole "chipped" mentality. It seems to be really common the the VW/Audi world. They just "chip" their ECU and boom 60hp. WTF? No tuning?!? No way can that be safe.

^ its safe. and they r lucky they get to do that. all it is is different maps depending on ur mods and gas u run. countless hours r spent making these maps so they r pretty safe.

Yeah it's different from ECU's on older civics where you can "chip" it with different maps. However with the S2K, the only tuning you'll be able to do is through a standalone such as AEM EMS. Don't get discouraged as tuning it to your liking will result in gratification!

"chipping" was always a half-assed attempt to tune in my opinion. a shitty apex vafc or other type of piggyback fuel controller is much better than a generic tuned chip you can throw in an ecu.

but yeah, s2000's are different. can't really do that stuff. if you don't have the cash for a standalone, don't bother.

Wow the adjectives you used for the vafc unit are extreme, vafcs are actually good pending your build, calling them "shitty" shows your lack of knowledge and experience with them

VAFCs can be good for a simple build. Its kinda old school but gets the job done. Id rock one if I had something simple like a intake, exhaust and that fun stuff.

exactly. I would never depend on a VAFC for a built engine.

If all you have are bolt ons, a vafc can get the job done, a stroker motor, Itbs, turbo kits need a standalone....I've used a vafc and adjustable fuel press regulator for nitrous 75 shot(100 or more requires a standalone) and I know people who use a vafc and afpr for their supercharged setup

Sadly Hondata is over a grand and a chip would be under 100 dollars.
