Default We need a crap load of help please

ok me and my friends have been trying 2 get the trans off of his 03 S2K 2 change his clutch but the trans wont come off! we droped the motor and everything removed all the bolt and still its stuck. the trans twists but it wont come off. please help.maybe instructions or sumtin or a diaphragm would help!thanks!

you have the motor and tranny out of the car???
extrat work then needed if u ask me..

sometimes the shafts are in there pretty good so once everything is out with a flathead screwdriver pry between the block and tranny and work yourway around...

there is a specific technique that sint that obvious. i remember my buddy talking about it but i cant remember the specifics. let me call him and have him refresh my memory.

ok i called my buddy and he said that he has done this about a dozen times. the easiest way to avoid scratching the **** out of the fire wall is to remove arm (i think thats what he said) and then lower the front subframe, engine and all, about 2.5 to 3 inches. that will give you plenty of clearance and you take it off just like any other tranny.

i hope that helps. and im sorry i personally cant relay the method as im sure at least some part of his description has been lost in translation.

Did you take off the clutch fork?

What about the top starter bolt?

i bet it's the fork...a lot of people have problems with it. once you remove that it will fall apart very easily. good luck

where is the fork? we pried the tranny off the block about 3 to 4 inches and twist the tranny back and forth pull and pull but still nothing we even tied a rope around the tranny and hooked it up 2 my truck and it wont budge! all of us have frot wheel drive cars so this is new 2 us! please help if u can thanks!

Does the tranny come straight off the motor or at an angle?

The resulting satisfaction more than made up for the hurt. F20 came out, F22 with 9k redline came in.
