My friend is getting a Vortech kit for his AP2 and Vortech is going to modify the ECU to go with the kit.
They want a 16 digit VIN number from the car to do the work with the ECU.
We cant find the 16 digit VIN. Any idea where it is?
Its a 2007 JDM AP2

if you live in hong kong you wont have a 16 digit vin... thats a us thing

 

But thats what Vortech is requesting.
I'll call them to see what they can do.
I gave them the chasis number and the engine number.

 

If your in HKG its a 7 or 8 digit VIN. You would have to tell them your not in the USA and have them work with you.

It starts with the chassis code/number followed by a - and 5 or 6 numbers.

That is what we call a chasis number.
The car only comes with 2 numbers.
Chasis number which goes AP2xxx... and the engine number F22xxx....
