Default Turbo

Anyone know what kind of turbo kits are the best for S2000. Also can I run higher than 7 PSI?

7 psi is already alot remembe s2k's are high comp motors but with a thicker headgasket you can pump up the boost.

7 psi is pushing it on a stock motor with most kits. I was knock limited around there.

Inline Pro
all make S2000 turbo kits. I really like Inline Pro's intercooler piping, LoveFab's GT1 turbo manifold/downpipe, and A-Spec tuning's V-mount intercooler setup.

You have the full race turbo kit, i believe it's the Stage 3gt, but you are running stock internals? I don't believe thats safe and if the car is running i believe that the motor will not be able to handle that for long. Does anybody do internals to their s2k. I'm having alot of trouble looking for companies that have pistons, rods, etc...

Mike1ch,

The car was running at 13.8psi and we went down to 11 and I will be running it on 8 daily. Jeff Evans tuned the car and I have full confidence in his conserative tune of the car. He didn't go all out for power but for the safety of me using it for awhile. I am not the only one without a gasket and stock internals pushing the 400whp envelope and I don't expect to be the last. The tune is 90% of what will happen to your motor. I think other will agree because those that have blown things up had problems with the tune not with the boost.

the stock block is capable of handling 500rwhp..... also the engine comes with forged pistons and rods.. and most people that are wanting to just boost it and get around 400 or so rwhp are just slapping on a 3mm or 2mm headgasket to lower compression....

then there's the other people that are pushing 600+ and they all have fully built motors..
