Default Transmission Problems

I am having this transmission problem with my S2000. When I am in NEUTRAL and I push the clutch in and out I have this thumping sound coming from the rear, and the car jerks a tiny bit. Another problem is when in reverse, it is not running smooth, it takes more throttle to move, and also makes odd noises and has an odd feeling to it (sometimes doesnt want to come out of the gear). Another related issue is I cannot CANNOT get into 1st gear when the car is rolling. As in, I cant downshift to first when im moving. Anyone know what this is? I am going to get it fixed, but want a idea before I turn it to Honda.
