torque spec for the upper strut bolt?
we are putting new springs on my buddies s2000 and i was wondering what the top strut bolt torque spec is. Not the two bolts that hold the strut/spring assembly to the engine bay, but the single gold nut in the center. any help would be appreciated.

thats kool.. but my carm is its my elbow...
hell one time someone asked me if i was gonna torque their wheels down after doing some repairs i said nah all by hand why? they insisted that i use a torque wrench.. so i bet him $50 that i would be within 5ft lbs from spec...
so i had a nice dinner that night off his $50
cal'd Elbows come from years of putting on, taking off wheels

Hi
so does that meant that the 2 nuts on the top of the strut that hold the tower to the inside of the engine bay should be set at 49 Nm? seems a bit high?
thanks
Dan
********nevermind - just checked it on my mate's stock ap1 - 49Nm exactly - thanks anyway!!*******
