Default Too good to be true??

hi guys, well i'm contemplating on whether to buy this local S2000 for sale... The guy wants 12,000 for the car but it is no where near perfect...the owner told me it was in an accident not to long ago and the air bags have gone off so the steering wheel has to be replaced... the fender was replaced from the accident but the radiator support seems to be slightly bent... the soft top needs to be patched in different locations as there are tears, the seats have alot of wear on them and the carpet looks ripped... also there is a check engine light that the owner says he doesn't know what it is and says he doesn't have time to get it checked... (he is an ******* kind of guy) so i plan on buying this car and replacing everything aftermarket like sparco sterring wheel and seats, new carpet, and possible a hardtop..... do you guys think this is a good deal or should i just walk away and let it go.... thanks in advance

haha...seems like if you were to reread what you just posted you would answer your own question. Save your money and buy a different one. With the amount of time and money you would need to put back into that car you would be much better off buying one that costs a little bit more. good luck

not worth the hassle for me. if you are seriously interested, i would get it checked out at a honda dealer or independant mechanic.

you could be buying into a lot of headaches.

I wouldn't do it. You really dont know what that car went through. If anything buy a theft recovery off ebay, it will be cheaper. Plus it will already be missing the parts that you want to replace anyway.

For $12k, don't bother unless it's an AP2.
