Which tires?
Well since i like to do canyon run's my stock tires are kind of worn out and im thinking about buying either yokohama AVS100's or Falcon Azenis. My friend keeps telling me azenis are better but i heard they suck in the rain and AVs100's grip better since i like to do canyon run's...so which one guy's??

^Azenis

^AVS 100

BF Goodrich Tires makes amazing tires.
These are the tires I have on my S

BFG Gforce Comp t/a KD this tire made me feel much more confident about getting more aggressive in the turns.
I highly recomend them (for dry usage) I hear the KDW and KDW2 are a little bit better for wet (with makes them more practical) but either way BFGoodrichtires are amazing

if you're on oem 16's..i'd say S02's...
if you do "canyon runs", talk to the guys that run at deals gap.. most have switched to goodyears, bfs, etc.etc... but always end up coming back to S02's
on a side note, the new azenis are supposed to have better wet weather traction then the old azenis. i have a set of the old azenis on my civic and i didn't think the wet weather traction was all that bad...
http://www.vulcantire.com shows all the sizes for the 615's. (i dont' know if you're running stock or aftermarket wheels)

stick with the s02's...i just bought a new set today...they are expensive but u get what u pay for...a great tire for a great car :-)
i was gonna get the BFG g-force KD..but it worse than the s02 in the rain and the price is a tad higher... :-(
but if i get some new 17" wheels later this summer..either the BFG KD, RE050, S03 or even the Piolet Sports PS2

Since you staying with the stock wheels for now. Def get the S-02's. Ppl like them a lot better then the S-03's as far as dry grip. If you get rain in you area often the S-03's would be a better choice.
The new Azenus dont come in the size you need for 16" and the 17" sizes wont be out until later at the end of the year.
Yokohama ES100 are complete garbage in my book. Dont even waist your money to try them out. If you want anything from yokohama, stick to their R compound tires. Their Whole Advan series are all really good.
BFGoodrich is also another choice. I currently have the G-Force TA KDW and like them very much for a daily tire. Nice grip in the dry and wet. Havent tried their other stuff, but I hear good things about the G-Force KD. The KD's and KDW's have nice stiff side walls so they are good for the track or those days in the mountains if you are into that.
Toyo T1S are okay. They are probley more equal to the BFGoodrich's. A friend has them and the only thing I dont like is how loud they ride.
If there is one mod on this type of car that I wouldnt care about spending money on its good tires. This car was ment to handle and be fun in the turns. You put crap tires on and all that goes away.

Thought I'd chime into another tire thread here.
For one thing, the AVS Sports by Yokohama blow chunks. Weak sidewall. The AVS Intermediates as well as their successor, the ES100's are far more superior, even though much cheaper. The sports look fine and work fine out the door for the first few thousand miles but that's about it.
My daily driven RA1's lasted quite a while and with the amount of rain we've gotten here in Texas, I wanted to get a cheaper daily street tire. I opted for the Sumitomo HTR's. I'm quite pleased, especially after a handful of laps at the track today with only 300 miles on them. They heat up great, get a little squiggly but very very controllable. For the buck, it's an 85% tire compared to the OEM S02, or a 75% tire compared to the RA1's but... it is what you can afford.

I have the Toyos currently. I used to be tripping out when it rained, and rain is frequent in Cincinnati - they made an incredible difference in the rain. I wish I was in SoCal with everyone else
As aforementioned, they dont grip as well in the dry though.
