So I'm getting ready to paint my stock AP1 wheels and I am wanting to do either black or black chrome. I would rather do black chrome, so is there a process for getting something to have that "black chrome" look or what?

black chrome would look boss. too bad there's really no good paint to do this. Maybe some "smoked" lens paint. You'd have to high-temp clearcoat it, though.

Gunmetal with the right flakes and a metallic touch looks great.

 

or you cna just have them PC'ed black chrome... theres a shop by me that does them... kinda expensive though

i did mine Gloss black...not flat like everyone else, got a few compliments on em....

but i love my works sooooo much more

 

Id go for the powder coating, personally

yeah it is a lil more expensive but looks that much better
