Default thinking of getting this 01 ap1

sup guys hopefully i will be a new memeber of the s2k family.. my ek hatch was stolen 2days ago and they havent recovered it..
I had a 00 si stolen 2yrs ago . I want to upgrade my ride and get a s2k .
im done with the civics
I found a 01 silverstone gray for 15995 mint.. no flaws 38k on it..
Sound like a pretty good deal?
im thinking payments will be somewhere near 370

sounds like a pretty decent deal.....

do you have any pics?

how does the rear plastic window look?

what kind of tires are on it? 38k would have a new set or two by now..... the original BStones are expensive, so a lot of people replace w/ cheaper tires.....

any mods to it?

Since you said there are no flaws, it sounds good and the miles are pretty low.

I say pick up the S, you won't regret it. I upgraded from a 00 Civic Si to my S2K right now.

i didnt really look at the rear plastic it didnt look to bad ill have to go check it out again today.. I gotta wait before i can get this S to see if they total my ek when they find it. if its getting totaled imma go ahead and start the paperwork for the s
It needs new front tires.. the rear tires are pretty good.. They proably just did a rotation on them..
the fronts got about 4/32nds if that
ill try to get some pics.. I paid 15k for my 00si back in 04 and my payments were 310.. so im figuring high 300's with this car after taxes and tags.. i cant wait .

tires cannot be rotated on a s2000

stock sizes are 205-55 front and 225-50 rear......

if you replace them with anything other than the stock bridgestones, you need to go 245-45 in the rear......

keep in mind that this car is 5 years old now..... check w/ a credit union for financing.... they can usually do longer terms and have better interest rates.....

also check w/ your insurance company, your rates will probably increase w/ this car.....

call them w/ the vin # and they can give you a quote....

good luck

Good luck man.
Depending on the bank, you might be able to go 72 months instead of 60. This will put your payments under 3 years.

the stock bridgestones that come on the car were specially made for the s2000....

they actually measure out to the width of a 245 even though they say 225.......

72 months is 7 years.....Lower payment but a lot of interest
36 months is 3 years.....Higher payment but lower interest

Sound like a good deal if the car has no accidents or flaws. The mileage is also pretty low.

Smoking good deal.

I upgraded from a B16 Eg2 Del sol that was also stolen to the s2. Though the Sol would be missed, i NEVER once regretted the S.

i think its a decent deal. and the pic looks clean. ive been looking for some months now and ive noticed a lot of ap1's going for around this price but with a little more mileage. ap2's are still 18-19 grand minmum for a decent one.

I would not buy an S2000 for 10 grand, unless my grand parents were selling it to me for a deal. *cough* salvage*cough*

I know, but for some reason it throws up a red flag for me. Thats why i didnt get an S2000, the only ones that i could seriously afford w/ school were in the sub $14,000 range and then Im into a semi-expensive higher mileage car.
