damn, we just got an 03 yellow s on lease return from some old *** dude, the car is beyond mint, has 13k miles on it. this car was babied from the moment he got it, we're asking $25k for it but i get at cost which is $20,650, i am thinking of getting it...what ya'll think?

Why would you sell that? I bought my '01 in '05 with 13k miles, I thought that was pretty good, but come on 1800? Keep it in the garage for another 10-15 years.

honestly, quite a few reasons:
1) I want to be back behind the wheel of an Evo IX MR. Should have never sold mine!
2) BMW club of Iowa will not allow convertibles to track schools and I am not travelling out of state to attend track schools, so I am taking my DD GSR instead
3) I personally don't think the S2K will be a collectors car. Check autotrader, they are overflowing with them. I am not into collecting cars, really!
4) I would rather see someone put the S2K to good use.

he coulda just replace it with low mileage ecu... i see he was selling an 03 s2k ecu not too long ago.. see below.
