Default S2k high compression ratio

I'm thinkin about getting a s2k after highschool but i also want boost... the blow off valve is addicting. i'm debating over a 240sx and dumping in a silvia engine and boosting.. but my origional idea was to put turbo on a s2k. Does anyoen know hwo i can solve the problem wit the high compression ratio on a s2k? i'm afraid if i do buy one and put any kind of boost.. the engine will give out in about a year. my friends suggested things like low compression pistons and stuff liek taht but i dont' think they will be very affective. I read articles on people taht did sucessfully turbo and i want to know how u guys went around the high compression ratio problem.. thank you

Default Well...

..as w/ any FI application tuning, fuel, ecu programming and managmet and timing are the most important! Personally, I would keep the s2k N/A. Look up Comptech, they currently offer a SC kit for the s2k, and Im sure the details are listed there.
There are a number of people running these kits on this board w/out incident, good luck in your project, by the way congrats on getting such a nice car at the age of what, 18?

The Comptech unit is very nice. The two Turbo kits that are almost available for the s2k run about $6500 and you`ll still need a new clutch and diff eventually.
