Eibach pro-kit FTW... Springs with a 1 inch drop all the way around. Very subtle and clean. Excellent ride, stiffens the rear a tad more than the front to prevent snap oversteer. Not too low to blow the struts, I love them.

You just bought a 2008 S2000s and you want some lowering springs? Don't cheap out... get some nice coils.

Stiffening the rear more than the front actually INDUCES oversteer.

espelirs n skunk2's probably give lowest drop, but you'll probably blow your shocks quick with those. pro-kits and swifts are most optimal on stock shocks.

I'm on coilovers, but I did a lot of research into springs for the car.

Anything short of a expensive set of coilovers would be a very dumb move. You car will handle much worse than it does right now... S2000's are great right out of the box. Why do you want to mess with that?

x2,

going on 1 yr and it drives like day 1.. no blown shocks.. most important thing to do is to get an alignment afterwards.. your tires will thank u..

I can guarantee that if someone were to put lowering springs on an s2000 it will handle worse. Are you the type of person that thinks if its lower its got to be better?

No I dont, But I am a driving instuctor, and have driven many of them with different level of mods, and stock compared to lowered on springs is a big difference. I was trying to give the OP insight that, that they might not have gotten , so they wouldent have made a bad choice. Now if all they want was the hella flush slammed look, then they dont need my advice. I would leave that up to them...

I have springs on my S2000, I wouldn,t consider them lowering springs. They do lower the car but give it a stiff ride and happen to lower it .7 of an inch.

In for pics and more opinions.Unless it is from Tarcrack Junkie I am wanting to lower a little bit but more improve just the daily driving. Im not really in the market for some expensive coilovers it is just a DD.
