Default s2000 upgrade?

so i wanted to upgrade my s2000 but i dont know how much of a difference would it make if i just changed the cams/ valves and valves springs. Puls how much do you guys think thats gonna cost. Plus do i have to change program on the ECU>

first off if you are not going to have any head work done dont worry about the valves at this point... i.e. porting,polishing etc...

as far as cams and valve springs you should definately have some sort of fuel computer.... i.e vafc or standalone aem ems

what other mods do you have?

to realise the full benefits of the cams you will need a intake, header,and possibly a single outlet exhaust....

cams will make more power if you are able to free up the intake and exahust breathing capabilities and with proper fuel and ignition tuning...

i calculated how much i would spend on a good NA setup and it turned out around 15K with just parts and those were just the parts i know i need

When I was going to do an N/A set up it was going to be arround 14K so i just went turbo and spent the same....... Car should Have about 480whp... we will find out in a few days

cool thanx man. but wont the cams put more stress on the other parts of the head?

If you want to make any real power, you're going to have to go FI.

The power to cost ratio of NA is just too much.
